Rapid Transformational Therapy for Weight Loss

Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT)seems to be taking the world by storm in recent history, and it’s no wonder why.  RTT embraces many of the positive aspects of hypnosis and hypnotherapy that are known to produce a transformative effect on clients: the use of trance, regression and hypnotic conditioning. It is considered a neuroscience-based therapeutic approach that combines the most beneficial principles of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, neurolinguistic programming, and cognitive behavioral therapy.  RTT goes beyond traditional hypnotherapy, diagnosing what works with real clients in real sessions to build a new therapeutic approach. RTT can be used for a long list of issues, including weight loss and management.

If you are someone who has yo-yo dieted or hasn’t had much success over the years with weight loss, RTT might be a fresh approach for you to lose weight and sustain the weight loss.  If you’re issues are specifically with sugar addiction, RTT can also get your sugar addiction under control.  One of the very first sessions I did with an RTT therapist was to address my own issues with sugar.  I definitely saw a decline in my desire for sugar or carb laden desserts after my session, and still go back to the personalized meditation that was recorded for me (this is a part of an RTT session) on occasion as a refresher for my subconscious mind.  RTT can change your relationship with food, aid in weight loss and help you to discover the true root cause of weight issues.  Read on to see what it is about RTT that makes it so effective for weight loss and management!

Rapid Transformational Therapy for Weight Loss

1. RTT uncovers the root cause for weight loss and management issues

One of the most important parts of an RTT session is the exploring of the subconscious mind to see what memories are the foundation for the belief system that is keeping you stuck, unable to lose weight.  Generally, an RTT therapist will lead a client to explore 3 different memories in a session.  The awareness created around the client’s “why” for the outdated belief system is massively transformational both in the session and afterwards.  For instance, I have seen many clients now who held the belief that they didn’t “deserve” the body that they wanted.  I’ve also seen many clients who grew up in households where food was used as a celebratory and connection tool so we’ve had to reprogram the belief that food “brings happiness.”  Each of us had a different upbringing, so our belief systems are going to vary from one person to another.  But the wonderful thing about RTT is if there is a belief underlying the issue, it can be rewired.

2. RTT shows the subconscious mind that it can react differently

Another key aspect of an RTT session is the differentiation for the subconscious mind between past events, which the subconscious mind has been reacting to, and present day.  By differentiating the two in session, your subconscious mind learns that who you are today is much different than the younger version of you. It might sound silly, but our subconscious mind thinks its protecting us by reacting the same way it did many years ago when a trauma first happened.  By giving it the understanding that it no longer needs to react in the same way because you no longer need protection in that way is tremendously transformational.

3. RTT helps give the inner piece of you the love he or she needs

Our “inner child” so desperately needs our own love and attention on a day to day basis.  When we give that younger version of ourselves what he or she needed back when they were younger (through a visualization process), we see our reality start to shift before our eyes.  If you are someone who has struggled with weight loss, perhaps that younger version of you needs to hear that you are loved, no matter what; that you are beautiful just as you are; that the number on the scale has nothing to do with your worth; that you have the power within you to do or be anything that you dream of. When we start feeding that inner part of us the things we have been starving to hear, we start to shine brightly from the inside out.

4. RTT helps install a “new” belief system that is supportive to your weight loss journey

When you work with an RTT practitioner, one of the final things they will do in session is record a personalized meditation for you to listen to for the next month.  We do this because of the research that shows that a “new” belief system is instilled by repetition.  When we hardwire in a new belief system, our behavior starts to shift automatically. So, for example, when we hardwire in the new belief that “I am enough just as I am,” or “my worth is not dependent on my weight,” or “it is safe to weigh less,” we start to make different food choices and view our bodies differently as well.

So, if you are someone who is looking for long term, permanent results with regards to weight loss or weight management, I would highly recommend an RTT hypnotherapy session with a certified practitioner. You won’t regret it!
